An NBA team traded for Derek Fisher today. It wasn’t like when you order a grab bag of t-shirts from a website, either. The Rockets sent a player to Los Angeles knowing that Derek Fisher would be shipped to Houston in return. 

From here on out, whenever somebody says “stranger things have happened,” this is what they are referring to.
